Product Details
The most crucial process in roll-coated aluminum panels is roll coating. Roll coating technology was introduced from abroad in the late 1980s and early 1990s in China and has developed domestically for nearly 20 years, becoming a mature and reliable coating technology. Aluminum panels are aluminum substrates that, after pretreatment, undergo surface coating using roll coating technology. After drying in an oven, a coating with special properties is formed on the surface of the aluminum substrate, widely used in the interior and exterior decoration of modern large-scale buildings.
Roll-coated aluminum panels have the following characteristics:
●Lightweight, good rigidity, and high strength. A 3.0mm thick aluminum plate weighs 8kg per square meter, with a tensile strength of 100-280N/mm2.
●Good durability and corrosion resistance. Using Kynar-500 and Hylur500 as base materials for PVDF fluorocarbon paint, it can last for 25 years without fading; compared to previous exterior wall materials, the service life can be extended by more than 10 years.
●Good processability. It can be processed into various complex geometric shapes such as planes, arcs, and spheres.
●Uniform coating, diverse colors, and a wide range of choices.
●Not easily stained and easy to clean and maintain. The non-adhesive nature of the fluorocarbon coating film makes it difficult for pollutants to adhere to the surface.
●Convenient and quick installation and construction.
●Recyclable and environmentally friendly. Aluminum plates can be 100% recycled, unlike glass, stone, ceramic, and aluminum-plastic composite panels, with high recycling residual value.
Compared to common spraying technology:
(1)The coating film thickness of aluminum plates coated by roll coating can be controlled within 1~2μm, and the physical and chemical properties are superior to those of spraying. The production process is more environmentally friendly without paint overspray.
(2)The film thickness is reduced by one-third, paint is not wasted, and the overall paint saving is more than 50%.
(3)Roll coating can increase production speed by more than 10 times compared to spraying, greatly improving efficiency, reducing labor costs, reducing energy consumption, and being more energy-efficient and low-carbon.
(4)Aluminum panels produced by roll coating can be transported flat and even processed and installed on-site; while aluminum panels produced by spraying can only be transported as finished products, the transportation volume can be reduced by 5 times, and the transportation cost can be reduced by more than 65%.
